I grew these cuties from seed. I’m not sure the exact species of Ferocactus. Could be Devils Tongue but I’m not positive. Ferocacti are a really hardy species. They can handle really hot and cold weather with ease. They’re faultless for the person with a light watering hand. I only water them twice a month. Feros thrive on neglect. Use lots of drainage rock like pumice, turface, expanded slate in your cactus mix. It’s leading to use a terra cotta pot for these since they really don’t like being wet for long.
